Firstly, the protagonist has been changed from Aiden Pierce to Marcus Holloway, bringing a new perspective and story to the game. Secondly, the setting has shifted from Chicago to San Francisco, offering a more vibrant and varied backdrop for players to explore.

The hacking element has also been improved in Watch Dogs 2, with players now able to hack a wider range of objects to take out or distract enemies. This expanded interaction is complemented by the inclusion of more vehicle types, including dirt bikes, adding to the urban exploration aspect of the game. Additionally, melee combat has been updated with customizable weapons, although some of the choices, like a billiard ball attached to a rope, may seem a bit silly.

Visually, Watch Dogs 2 is stunning, with San Francisco providing a colorful and diverse environment. The game has a sleek appearance, and hopefully, there won't be any issues with reduced textures at launch. Furthermore, the inclusion of co-op multiplayer adds another layer of excitement, allowing players to wreak havoc together in the urban chaos.

Watch Dogs 2 has the potential to be an excellent game, building on the strengths of its predecessor while addressing its shortcomings. With improved graphics, more variety, and multiplayer features, it promises to be a fun and immersive experience. However, as with any Ubisoft release, there is always a risk of launch issues, so it remains to be seen how the game will fare upon release.
